Masterclasses are held Saturday afternoon (a one-hour commitment) and group classes, eurythmics, performances, etc on Sunday ALL DAY.

Sponsored by the Suzuki : MA board, of which Ms. Breana is a member, this two day event is a fabulous opportunity for students of all levels. They will make new friends, be inspired to greater heights, and gain valuable new perspectives on violin playing from the master, guest teachers.
Breana Bauman and her friend, pianist : Osnat Netzer, will perform works by Dvorak, Schumann, Martinon and John Cage. This performance is free and open to the public. This is her final step in finishing her Performance Diploma, a post-graduate degree from Boston University.
From the main entrance at 855 Commonwealth Ave, take the elevator (left-ish) to 2nd floor, turn right, go towards far wall then walk around in either direction (directly opposite far wall).
FANTASTIC MR. FOX OPERA!!
Members of the Boston Children's Chorus, including our own violinist, Zoe! who auditioned and won a role in the production, will collaborate with Odyssey Opera and Boston Modern Orchestra Project at New England Conservatory's beautiful Jordan Hall. Based on the novel by Roald Dahl, this opera adaptation of Fantastic Mr. Fox will be presented on Sunday December 7th at 3pm. It promises to engage young and old audiences, alike!

This is a fun, family concert. It will start with an informal instrument "petting zoo," so kids can explore! There will be a violist performing a solo concerto with the orchestra, which doesn't happen often enough (usually it's violinists...) At $10 and in the afternoon, it's perfect for the whole family!
Boston Civic Orchestra is conducted by the former assistant concertmaster of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the incredible Max Hobart. On a personal note, I had the honor of playing under him for BCO and you don't want to miss hearing his musical ideas.

This beloved local gem for educational and creative toys will host Ms. Breana on Friday for a Toddler-oriented presentation on the Violin. Look forward to a performance, clapping rhythms, coloring, head shoulders knees and toes playing, and lots of singing!

If you haven't been already, you will discover why everyone gets all dizzy talking about Tanglewood, one of the most beautiful and romantic places in the world, one we're lucky to have so close!
This is an afternoon concert, so the 2 hour drive home won't kill you if you've gotta make a day trip of it. Lots of delicious lunch and dinner options in nearby Lenox (and my personal fave : Haven Cafe, which my friends have nicknamed, "Heaven Cafe"). Or hit the grill on the grounds, pack a picnic... lots of great, family-friendly options.
Outdoor concerts are great for families; kids have more freedom to move around or lay out in the grass while listening. Who doesn't love a picnic with great music?

We will be offering a unique opportunity for 3-6 year old beginners to sign up for a 6 week intensive group course on Suzuki Violin at Wayland School of Music. Meeting twice a week on Tuesday Thursdays 2 - 3pm and 3 - 4pm for only $288, this is an incredible deal on a revolutionary approach to instruction.
