Disney Meets the Beatles

This is a fun, family concert. It will start with an informal instrument "petting zoo," so kids can explore! There will be a violist performing a solo concerto with the orchestra, which doesn't happen often enough (usually it's violinists...) At $10 and in the afternoon, it's perfect for the whole family!

Boston Civic Orchestra is conducted by the former assistant concertmaster of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the incredible Max Hobart. On a personal note, I had the honor of playing under him for BCO and you don't want to miss hearing his musical ideas.

Violin Soloist plays Mozart Concerto no. 4 with BSO

Augustin Hadelich joins the Boston Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Juanjo Mena to play one of the great classics of our repertoire, Mozart's 4th Violin Concerto.

If you haven't been already, you will discover why everyone gets all dizzy talking about Tanglewood, one of the most beautiful and romantic places in the world, one we're lucky to have so close!

This is an afternoon concert, so the 2 hour drive home won't kill you if you've gotta make a day trip of it. Lots of delicious lunch and dinner options in nearby Lenox (and my personal fave : Haven Cafe, which my friends have nicknamed, "Heaven Cafe"). Or hit the grill on the grounds, pack a picnic... lots of great, family-friendly options.
