Dear Parents,

Many thanks for your interest in studying violin with me. I will be accepting transfer students during the Spring and Summer, then new beginners in the Fall. Please plan ahead: Group Classes will be Thursday evenings near Harvard Square.

I like to start with a 20 minute phone call and if it seems like a good fit, the next step would be to come observe a lesson. If you think my style of teaching will match your way of learning, transfer students can set up a 30-minute trial lesson.

For parents of new beginners age 4 - 6, after we chat on the phone, I’d like meet you and your child to determine if your child is ready to begin violin lessons.

In addition to finding compatible availability, what you will experience is:

1. We will communicate well via email / text.

2. We will strive for an organized, calm existence.

3. We value music and listen often at home.

4. We make time to practice violin and connect in an un-hurried way each day.
